Explore Art Schools and a Career in Arts

About

This website is for aspiring and working artists. It’s about becoming a successful, full time artist.  I want you to have a successful art career!

Financial disclosure

Many of my links will take you to Amazon.com or other websites.  If you click on my links and then purchase something, I may earn a small commission.  That helps me avoid work involving the question, “And would you like fries with that order?”

However, I never recommend any product or service unless I really believe in it.

Privacy statement

My website collects no information about you.

However, some advertisements on this site (or links to others’ websites) may use cookies or other technical means to serve you content suited to your browsing interests.

(It’s like having the maitre d’ recognize you, and know that you don’t like to eat dinner at a table near the restrooms.  That’s what most cookies do.  Anything that’s more intrusive than that… it’s not going on my website. Period and full stop.)

That sums up everything you really need to know.  Next, I’m posting the fine print.

The fine print

This blog is a personal blog written and edited by me.  This blog does not accept cash advertising, sponsorship, or paid topic insertions, except for AdSense and affiliate advertisements, clearly marked as such. However, I will and do accept and keep free products, services, travel, event tickets, and other forms of compensation from companies and organizations, generally for the purposes of giving the product or service a fair review.

This blog abides by word of mouth marketing standards. I believe in honesty of relationship, opinion and identity. Despite my very best intentions, the compensation received may influence the advertising content, topics or posts made in this blog. (If anything, I’m likely to be more harsh and critical, to compensate.) That content, advertising space or post will be clearly identified as paid or sponsored content.

If I claim or appear to be an expert on a certain topic or product or service area, I will only endorse products or services that I believe, based on my expertise, are worthy of such endorsement. However, any product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer or provider.  In other words, any time you’re considering a purchase, keep your critical thinking skills engaged.

To the best of my knowledge, this blog does not contain any content which might present a conflict of interest.  If you’re not sure whether my professional, political or spiritual views have influenced a post… well, they probably have.  I don’t think anyone is entirely without bias.  However, I can assure you that my biases are never contrived for personal or financial gain.  That’s probably as good as it gets.

Here’s the fine print regarding privacy:
